The Color Block Scarf is one of our patterns in the Musa essentials collection. A simple and adaptable pattern for all levels. You can do it both with our Merino DK or in Fingering.

The Color Block scarf can be worked in Merino DK or Fingering.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

One size. The scarf can vary depending on the base yarn you use, your tension, and any modifications you make to the pattern.

You can easily adjust the length of the scarf to make it even warmer and cosier or a short necktie project. Remember that this will affect the amount of material you need.

Total length (unstretched): 180 cm / 70”.

Total width (unstretched): 25 cm / 10”.

The measurements are only indicative.

Recommended yarn: Musa, Merino DK; 100% Merino superwash; 100 m / 109 yds, 50 g.

C1-Colour 1: 3 balls of Musa Merino DK 45 Poseidon #petroleum blue

C2-Colour 2: 3 balls of Musa Merino DK 09 Spicy mustard #mustard yellow

C3-Colour 3: 3 balls of Musa Merino DK 20 Coral almond #coral pink

C4-Colour 4: 3 balls of Musa Merino DK 35 Garnet #garnet red

Yarn Alternative: Musa, Merino Fingering; 100% Merino superwash; 200 m / 219 yds, 50 g. Approximately the same number of balls.

Needles: 4.5mm / 80 cm [US 6 / 32 ”] circular or straight needles or the width needed to obtain the correct tension.

Gauge: 20 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] garter stitch knit FLAT, after blocking.

Being a scarf, the tension is not essential, but it can change the thread requirements if it does not fit correctly.

Standard Bind-off.

Row 1 (RS): knit to the end.

Row 2 (WS): knit to the end.
